What's up?

We've had an eventful year here a Puddlehaven, our new house finished and we started on the landscaping. It's still a little rough out there, but we're starting to see flashes of what it will look like when the landscape matures.

We're all snugged up inside now, and we're starting to see the benefits of having real walls and insulation around us. When the first storm blew through this fall both kids (and Dana) felt safe and secure -- a big change from the way we use to huddle under the covers in the mobile home waiting for it to blow off the cinder blocks and whisk us off to Oz.

Puddlehaven?

It's what we call our little 5-acre farm. A joke that we carried with us from our last house, when it rains our place becomes a haven for, well, puddles.

Since all the really good domain names are taken, we decided to use Puddlehaven, it means something to us anyway.
